Rivet Style Shelving combines easy assembly with structural integrity. The positive rivet connection, integral to rivet shelving, is joined with a 14-gauge angle post to create a rigid framework ideal for high-density shelving. The two-way keyhole slots and snap-in rivet design, characteristic of rivet rack shelving, provide a simple installation process. There are no clips, braces, or additional hardware needed for this type of rivet racking. The shelves can be adjusted in 1-1/2” increments for optimal flexibility. The rivet shelving parts, essential for rivet rack shelving configurations, are available in a wide variety of sizes to fit specific storage requirements. Rivet Style Shelving has a weight capacity of 400 – 600 lbs. per shelf (depending on size). Rivet Style Shelving can be arranged as stationary (fixed) shelving configurations and/or mobile shelving configurations, making it a versatile solution in the category of rivet shelving.
Angle upright posts are constructed of 14 gauge steel formed into an angle formation of 1-15/32” x 1-15/32”. The posts are punched on 1-1/2” centers with key hole slots to accept rivets in beams.
Several shelf support configurations are available to meet a variety of applications and weight requirements.
Low Profile
Low profile double rivet shelf support is formed of 14 gauge steel for normal filing and 11 gauge steel for heavy applications. Supports have flat ears at either end and form into a channel with a depth of 1-1/8”.

All steel parts are thoroughly cleaned in a multistage washer. And integral part of this stage is the application of the phosphate coating. This results in superior paint adhesion and rust resistance. The finest grade of industrial enamels are applied with electrostatic spraying equipment. This ensures complete and even coverage. Coverage is capable of withstanding a minimum of 250 hours salt spray chamber as well as normal resistance of a quality finish.
Paint finish options include Medium Grey, Black, and White. Other colors are available upon request.

The “Box” form shelf creates incredible durability and the powder coating minimizes sharp edges and provides an attractive, smooth finish. This shelving system is comprised of two 16-gauge uprights with tabs for mounting shelves and accessories. 18-gauge metal spreaders are riveted to the uprights creating a rigid framework. The metal “Box” shelves are constructed of 22-gauge steel with a weight capacity that varies based on size. Shelves are simply inserted into tabs on uprights without any additional hardware or clips making for easy assembly and relocation of this shelving. Standard paint finish is sand.

Four-Post L&T Shelving, incorporates shelving units with slotted shelves, making it one of the most comprehensive systems of its kind. It is incredibly durable, easily accessible and attractively designed. With its double wall construction and unique interlocking keyhole design for slotted shelves, shelf supports are secured inside the wall leaving a smooth, clean appearance. This makes the shelving ideal for museums, school band/orchestra equipment rooms, and confidential records. The shelving is made from only the finest materials and highest quality workmanship. The sheet metal is commercial quality steel fully pickled or equivalent.
Open uprights are formed of 18-gauge cold roll steel, rolled into a 2” wide hollow “T” or 1” wide hollow “L” shape with keyslot holes punched on 1-½” centers along the inner wall. There are no holes on the face of the post. The front and back posts are joined by welded 18-gauge 3” high spacers to maintain the required distance apart and add rigidity to the assembly. Top and bottom spacers have 11/16” stiffening flange with two ¼” holes to allow securing to the floor or mobile base. Center spacers are flat strips. All uprights 64” high or less plus uprights 76” to 88” high that are less then 30” deep have three spacers. All other uprights have four spacers. The “L” uprights are used for row ends and the “T” uprights are used as common intermediate uprights.
Closed uprights have the same specification as open uprights except the spacers are replaced by welding a 24-gauge closure sheet with a stiffener flange at the bottom of the closure sheet. The flange has two ¼” holes to allow securing to the floor or mobile base.
Shelves are formed of 22-gauge cold roll steel with 25/32” high channel formation on all sides. Return flange is formed 120° permitting easier installation. Optional Slotted Shelves have shelf divider slots punched on 2” centers. Two supports required per shelf

Shelf supports are formed of hot roll pickled steel, 36” from 14-gauge and 42” & 48” from 11-gauge, 11/16” high with flat ears at either end. Semi-tubular rivets with 7/16” diameter head is staked onto ears, four rivets for each support, to set into the keyslot holes of the Open and Closed Uprights.

Wire Style Shelving is NSF approved. Wire shelving reduces dust build-up, allows free light and air circulation, increases sprinkler effectiveness and improves visibility. It is fast and easy to install with no special tools required. Wire shelving can be safely secured to Pipp mobile carriages uses Intermediate Wire Post Brackets to create a lateral or compacting mobile configuration. Wire Style Shelving provides the strength, durability and cleanliness needed in many storage markets, making it the appropriate storage solution for healthcare, hospitality and restaurant storage applications and other sanitary or clean environments.

heavy duty steel shelves
Clip Style Shelving is the system of choice when heavy duty steel shelves are required. It is a strong, versatile, and cost-effective shelving system. Clip Style Shelving features steel shelves with a welded box beam construction, lapped/welded corners, and triple bends on the side flanges. Shelves come in three different styles to match a range of load capacities up to 1,000 pounds per shelf. The shelves attach with metal shelf clips and are available in eighteen different sizes. Metal shelves are available in 20 and 22 gauge steel, and circle perforated shelves are available in 22 gauge steel. Accessories like bin dividers, shelf drawers, panel kits, locking doors, label holders, and mezzanine components help you customize the system to your needs.
The perforated shelves are constructed of the same materials and have the same construction as the standard Q and Q2 shelves. The interior of the shelves are perforated with 0.375” diameter holes on 0.3” horizontal offset centers and 0.36” vertical offset centers. The water flow through for the perforated area is 51%. This is only for the perforated area not the total surface. The box form is considered a structural component and dos not require perforation.
Shelf clip shall be constructed of 13 gauge steel formed into a channel with two hooks to engage upright. Hooks on clip shall be a minimum of 3/8” wide and must engage into post a minimum of ¼”. Shelf clip shall engage upright post at two points and hooks shall be on 1” centers or more to give added strength and rigidity. Shelf clip shall be plated with durable coating to give extra life to the clip.
Sway braces are of 11 gauge steel, installed to form an “X” on both end and sides and shall be adjustable on 1” centers.
Panels shall be formed of 24 gauge steel.
Bulk Storage Units are fabricated of high quality, cold rolled carbon steel, free of scale or rust and fully pickled. Exposed edges, corners and surface areas are from of sharp edges and all workmanship is of the highest quality as measured by the industry.
All steel components shall be thoroughly cleaned and phosphatized from rust resistance in a five-stage pre-treatment process. A high grade of polyester/epoxy powder paint is to be applied electrostatically with a gloss reading of between 55 and 65. The finish shall have a salt spray rating of 250 hours or more.
Shelves shall be constructed of 20 or 22 gauge steel with full welded “BOX” formation in front and back of the shelf and shall have the formed channels on both ends. All corners shall be fully lapped and welded at two points in each corner. The “BOX” formation shall be welded on a minimum of 3” centers and the entire length of the box. All shelves shall have a profile height of 1 5/16”. Shelves shall be designed to allow for use of shelf clips or to allow for shelf to be bolted to the uprights.
Heavy-Weight Shelving
Bulk Rack Shelving is a great choice for storing heavy, bulky items. It allows clear and convenient access from front or rear. Shelf spans of 96” W x 48” D are available. Uprights are pre-welded for fast assembly and strength. Each unit can handle load capacities up to 10,000 pounds. Beams incorporate a unique tapered finger design attachment that locks beams safely onto uprights. Two styles of beams and deck supports lets you choose between several different shelf options.
Rolled formed steel box beams provide added strength at the front and back of shelf edges.
Choose between wire and particle board.
Beams simply slide into place. Assembly takes less than half the time of most other shelving system.
